This course focuses on concepts in relation to health promotions which include both acute and chronic health conditions. It will not only highlight the rehabilitative needs of children in context of nursing care but also address causation and other modalities that facilitate in the reduction of childhood morbidity and mortality. Students will learn strategies that promote optimal health for children. In addition, students will have sufficient opportunities to apply these theoretical concepts in a clinical setting.
